This temple is found in the Mandukanneswarar koyil street behind the Kachabaeswarar temple. The linga faces east. The theertham of this temple is called Sagothara theertham. The head of the Nandhikaeswarar is tilted towards the northern side instead of looking straight at the lord. The linga was worshipped by sage Maandukanni and Married 5 Deva Kannies and stayed here and attained Mukthi.
