The Maasaathan thali temple is found in a Mandapam which has been converted into a lumber shop now. This linga was worshipped by sathan. Some say that the so called sathan is refers also to Sastha. Some books refer to this linga as Thaanthonreaswarar. This Linga is a Suyambhu Linga.
