This temple is found in Oli Muhammadhu Paettai in CMVA nagar. The linga was found in a corner unnoticed since this area was occupied by Muslims. The place was earlier called as Vaanaeshwaram but now due to Muslims dominations the name has been changed to Oli muhammadhu Paettai. In recent days a very small shelter has been laid around this Shivaa. Vaanaasura established this linga and by worshipping Shivaa he attained the post of leadership of the Shiva Ganaas.
